Greece, Spain, Italy, and Portugal warn that you could face imprisonment if you bring certain medications with you on vacation. Greece has the strictest regulations, allowing travel with a maximum of five different prescription medications for personal use, but more than two boxes of any medication are not permitted.
This is particularly important for cardiovascular patients, as they typically use at least 5-6 different medications, and their daily dosage can include as many as 10-15 different pills.
