Women’s Day- the filter campaign continues, but not only for women’s hearts

[fluentform id="7"]
Last year's highly successful and extremely effective Women's Day screening campaign of the SZÍVSN National Patient Association continues, this year it draws attention to the importance of cholesterol levels. Women's Day is the best opportunity to focus on women's heart diseases on the one hand, and families through them on the other. High cholesterol is one of the greatest enemies of the cardiovascular system, and it is not even known that it can be hereditary. Today in Hungary there are forty thousand people with unrecognized familial hypercholesterolemia, but their children and parents are also affected. The main consequence of FH is cardiac death at a young age (before the age of 40), even though the high degree of atherosclerosis caused and the resulting cardiovascular complications could be prevented. That is why this year we are calling attention to recognizing this as early as possible. To apply for our comprehensive screening campaign between March 8 and 15, go to www. on the sívsen.hu website.
